You will need:
– An Aeropress
– Aeropress filters
– Medium to finely ground coffee
– Hot water
– 15 grams of coffee per 250ml of water
Place a clean, dry, filter paper into the Aeropress cap and secure it to the chamber. Then place the chamber over your cup with the cap down.
Now flush the insides with hot water. This will preheat the vessel and rinse the filter paper. After you have done this, empty the water from your cup.
Place your ground coffee into the Aeropress chamber. If the coffee is not level, gently shake to level it out.
Pour in hot water, saturating all of the grounds and stir quickly a couple of times.
Carefully place the plunger onto the chamber without pressing it down.
After a minute of brewing, gently push the plunger down at a slow, consistent speed until it reaches the grounds. Your coffee is now ready, enjoy!
