You will need:
– A Moka Pot
– Medium to finely ground coffee
– Hot water
3 cup Moka Pot
– 12-14g of coffee
– 150ml of water
6 cup Moka Pot
– 16-18g of coffee
– 300ml of water
Boil your water in a kettle.
Remove the top of the Moka Pot and basket and fill the bottom with hot water. IMPORTANT: Do not fill above the relief pipe.
Put your ground coffee (see dosage recommendations above) in the basket and gently level it out, avoid packing the coffee down when leveling.
Place the basket back in the Moka Pot, with the spout down.
Screw the top onto the bottom and place your Moka Pot onto the stove over a medium to low heat.
When the coffee is brewing, you will hear bubbling in the top of the pot. When this bubbling starts to diminish, take the Moka Pot off of the heat, your coffee is ready!
