Coffee was first introduced to Brazil in 1727 from French Guiana, now, coffee plantations cover 6.4 million acres of the country. Brazilian coffee is primarily cultivated in the south eastern states, including: Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Paraná. The hot and humid climate combined with the rich soils of the south east prove to be the perfect land for coffee cultivation.

We source our Brazilian arabica coffee from the mountainous state of Minas Gerais, where over half of the countries coffee is produced. Coffee from Minas Gerais is renowned for it’s sweet and chocolatey flavour, intense aroma and floral, citrus notes.
